Mrs. R. L. Nanayakkara - Chairman

Rohini Nanayakkara obtained her BA Second Class Honours Degree from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and a Diploma in French from the Chamber of Commerce, Brussels. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Management and the Institute of Bankers, Sri Lanka.

She has been the General Manager of the Bank of Ceylon, CEO of the Private Sector Infrastructure Development Fund, a World Bank funded project, Director/CEO of Seylan Bank and Chairman/Director of several other financial institutions and business organizations.

"In January 2005, H.E. the President of Sri Lanka appointed her as a Member of the Task Force to Rebuild the Nation (TAFREN)."

Ishara Nanayakkara - Director

Mr. I.C. Nanayakkara is the Deputy Chairman of the LOLC Group and Managing Director of Ishara Traders, the pioneering importer of reconditioned motor vehicles in Sri Lanka. Having obtained a Diploma in Business Accounting from Australia, he worked in Japan for two years with the largest exporter of reconditioned motor vehicles - Yamagin Corporation, Tokyo. Mr. Nanayakkara is a Director of Ishara Plantations (Pvt) Ltd., Ishara Property Development (Pvt) Ltd., and also serves as a Director on the Boards of all LOLC subsidiaries. In September 2005, he was appointed a Director of Brown & Company Ltd. - a long established diversified conglomerate with 20 subsidiaries involved in finance, travel and leisure, industrial products and engineering services.

Kapila Jayawardane - Director

Mr. Kapila Jayawardane has over 26 years experience in banking. His previous position was as the Country Head and CEO for Citibank Sri Lanka and Maldives. He held this position for eight years. He has varied experience in the fields of Banking Operations, Audit, Relationship Management, Corporate Finance, Consumer Banking and Treasury Management. He has recorded many business achievements during his tenure at Citibank including rapid growth of the business, AAA rating by Fitch in Sri Lanka and lowest loan loses in the banking industry.

Mr. Jayawardena was appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Banks Association (SLBA) in 2003/04. He has also served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka. He was appointed to the Financial Sector Reforms Committee (FSRC) by the Prime Minister and is a member of the Finance Sector and Capital markets cluster of the National Council of Economic Development (NCED). Mr. Jayawardena was a key member of the Inaugural Sovereign Rating team for Sri Lanka appointed by the Governor of the Central Bank.

Mr. Jayawardena holds an MBA in Finance Management and is an Associate of the Institute of Cost and Executive Accountants. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers. The Government of Sri Lanka appointed him to the Board of Sri Lanka – US Fulbright commission in 2010. He was appointed as the Group Managing Director/CEO of LOLC Group in June 2007.

K. U. Amarasinghe - Director

Mrs. Amarasinghe, who holds an Honors Degree in Economics is also a Director of LOLC's subsidiaries, and of companies within the Ishara Traders Group.
